is why we keep riding. With the love there is also hate. Hate for expensive repairs. Hate for expensive gear. Hate for breakdowns on the road. Hate for bad weather.

The biggest hate is losing someone close to the ride. As we continue to mourn and grieve our friend and brother Rickey, we continue to ride. We ride for him, his memory, his wife Connie. We ride for ourselves, the memories we will create and the memories we have of riding with Rickey and Connie.

So, today we celebrated Rickey. We came together as brothers and sisters of the Victoria TX Five Points HOG Chapter for the first Riding with Rickey memorial ride to one of his favorite places to eat seafood, Cathy’s in Port O’Connor and it did not disappoint. The service and food was fabulous.

As we continue to ride and know Rickey is riding with us, I will hear the words from Maverick when we get into those crazy situations we always seem to get into on most of our rides….Talk to me Goose!
