Good times

We competed in a 50 POI (point of interest) contest called the Motorcycle Grand Tour of Texas, it took us about a month to finish. We put about 5,000 miles on the bike, a new tire and Bryan said a cuss word or two. We rode through freezing mornings and hotter than hell afternoons. On our latest round we rode through a West Texas dust devil and got hit by a tumbleweed or two. Rode through damn near gale force winds both on the coast and up in the pan handle. We were able to excersize our freedoms and go anywhere we wanted mask-less in East Texas. We ate in more Mom and Pop restaurants than I can recall and stayed in a historic hotel or two. We had a couple of, “da fuck was thats?” and a few “Did you really just do thats”. We would do it all over again, because we love this time together. It’s US time. Then we get to come home and have family time with our grown children.

Some of our sayings the past 3 days:

Look at those bluebonnets

It’s cold

It’s hot

Sketchy, sketchy looking

That curve got you last time we came through here too

Look at those flowers

That bump made snot come out of my nose

That cow is peeing out of the back end of the trailer

I was either super exhausted or that bed was comfy
